Colombia Blew My Mind!

colombian girls blew mind

If there is one country you guys MUST visit its COLOMBIA. I have to many over the years. I popped my Travel Cherry in Brazil and Thailand in 2007.  There still is not a better country OVERALL that has so much to offer. Whether you love Colombian Coffee, Colombian banking or Colombian girls its all good…

I have visited a couple of times now and still yearn for more of the place. They are simply the coolest people I have met in my life. Contrary to what many people believe they are laid back and chilled, not the screaming hyper people many Europeans and (Brits) imagine. I am a laid back guy and chilled out as many of you have seen from

my videos so I get on really well with Colombian people.

Is Colombia SAFE? YES!

Me and Simon Bolivar hanging out in Bogota’s main park Tidy and safe!

Yes! Yes! Yes! It is but the beautiful thing is this is what has kept it untouched from stupid Tourists who would come to the country and mess it up. Our Western Women in our own countries are messed up so it was absolute heaven to enjoy real feminine women who go out of their way to please you. In EVERY way…. Cooking, cleaning decent conversation (although that was my own fault for only having basic spanish)

Forgetful Policeman… Tempting souvenir! LOL

Anyway guys check out my selfie video of me in Bogota…Wow scary NOT! No crazy people running about with guns shooting each other NADA!

That means “Nothing” in Spanish. Look I even taught you guys some spanish 😉 The ladies appreciate it since English is not widely spoken.

Great people

Dating in colombia
Meeting a lovely woman in Colombia Bogota

Having travelled all over the world now I can honestly say I have not met a more genuine nice group of people. Now theres other countries like Thailand where people are very nice to you BUT its their culture to be SEEN to be nice and polite. While they can mutter in their own language and laugh at you. Colombians are genuine and straight forward. Frown means somethings wrong. Smile everything is good. That sits well with me as a straightforward Scotsman.

Don’t get me wrong the countryside is worth coming to see; its absolutely stunning. The activities, great biking adventures to be had. I had to think to myself why I

10/10 in Colombia 😉

didnt see many foreigners here…. Its because of the bad reputation Colombia has unjustly received over the years because of the drug period in the 80s and also the Marxist rebels hiding in the jungle causing trouble. Well let me tell you that’s over with. Its good for them because they are very decent and for us foreigners who want to visit.

I only met other men here who were similar to me (had balls and risk takers) so eventually I think the country will see more “normal” tourits and visitors in the future. (not too many bad ones I hope)

Enjoy the whole country and Bon appetite. (Thats French I know)

Third world country?

Hell no! You have to experience things first hand (well I do anyway) to get a flavor of the country. I don’t like to take anyone’s word for it. I hope you guys watched my video mini series on walking around the streets of Medellin and Bogota and can see for yourself and perhaps consider visiting at some point. Its highly recommended for men and women, but I can only speak as a man. They have modern Malls or what we in the UK call “Shopping Centers” check out the photos….This ain’t Africa Kenya…great though that country was to see, they are a little behind even they would admit compared to a country like Colombia.

Barranquilla

Colombia is sooo diverse it boggles the mind. In the north of the country on the coast, known to Colombians as “La Costa” is Barranquilla and Cartagena. I visited both and enjoyed everything they had to offer. Be warned though its HOT! Hotter than hell…..I was struggling with the humidity more than in Africa LOL

Very Friendly Women in Barranquilla!

Beautiful Cartagena in “La Costa” coast of Colombia

Their service in supermarkets, restaurants and anything else you can think of is what we in the West USED to have decades ago. Probably for you fellow Brits reading this think of the 1950s. There’s a personal touch to everything and people still take pride here in looking after you and feel genuinely embarrassed and ashamed if they make mistakes. Contrast this to or shitty service in the UK. Nobody gives a fuck and many restaurants have SJW service. Feminist waitresses (even me describing them like that is probably offensive now) so GTFO! It really is something and a head spin that you realized a so called 3rd world country is more advanced and cultured, sophisticated than your own…. Plenty of food for thought!

Yes I would recommend Medellin first as english is something they are sort of used to hearing. But the best bet is learn Spanish to a basic level and go and meet the locals. Especially the women 😉
